Enhanced DBS checks will contain the same details as a standard check and, if the role is eligible, an employer can request that one or both of the DBS Barred Lists are checked.

What Documents are Needed to Carry Out an Enhanced DBS Check?
- A valid passport or driving licence with your date of birth
- National insurance Number
- Two of the following documents: A utility bill, bank statement, mortgage or credit card statement with full home address.
- You can opt to add online ID verification to your DBS check if you have a British/Irish passport, in order to save time providing your original documents to the verifier.
