Position: Cost Engineer from South Africa needed for UR project.
Qualifications: B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering with Cost and Estimation work experience.
Extra Certificates: Any approved certificate in the field of Finance. Cost Engineering and Estimation, Scheduling or Auditing
Work experience : Must have 5 years and above of work experience in Cost Engineering in Oil and Gas Industry Projects
Must also have 5 years and above of related work experience and training, an educational background, technical and soft skills and have a professional personality
Key Work experience Criteria : Must have:
Strong estimating background in oil and gas industry.
Lots of experience in any discipline, mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation, telecommunication, civil and structural.
Knowledge of international standard specification and familiar with Aramco standard especially in mechanical and piping discipline.
Knowledge in reading of all drawings, isometric, P&ID and general drawings.
Demonstrative understanding of estimating methods that support the task request.
Skills to be able to monitor and improve estimating performance through incorporation of actual cost feedback into future estimate.
Skills to be able to Identify information needs for developing accurate estimate as well as identifying any technical issues related to project implementation.
Skills to be able to review key aspect of the request project contract or contractor proposal.
Skills to be able to provide assistance to other internal estimating engineer and project support in developing cost estimates and project cost review
The ability to communicate fluently in English
Location: Mainly Khobar but must be willing to move to remote area (Jafurah/ South Ghawar) based on business needs
