LEAD ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST NEEDED – ARAMCO

Minimum Requirements;
Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies + (8) years of experience
Selection criteria:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health or Engineering degree plus eight (8) years of professional industrial hygiene or associated public health / environmental activities.
Certification from a recognized professional organization that represents Industrial Hygienists is required for non-Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health degreed employees.
The candidate should have excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), as he is required to write technically sound reports related to industrial hygiene.
Must obtain a valid Saudi Arabia Driver’s License and have passed the Saudi Aramco requirements to operate a Company vehicle. The candidate should be willing and able to do field work.
Specify work experience:
Experience includes recognizing and evaluating workplace health hazards, and recommending controls to eliminate these hazards. Perform a wide variety of industrial Hygiene activities to protect occupational health, to minimize the risk of exposures to hazardous chemicals, biological and physical agents.
Preferred certificate:
Certified Industrial Hygienist, Registered Occupational Hygienist, BOHS Chartered Occupational Hygienist
Preferred skills:
Industrial Hygiene assessments including chemical exposure, Indoor Air Quality, ergonomics, asbestos. Knowledge and experience on Industrial hygiene sampling and utilization of instruments/equipment and measurements. Interpret laboratory analysis. Writing assessment reports and excellent English communication skills.
