TECHNICAL WRITER (WRITER EDITOR) NEEDED IN DHAHRAN

A highly skilled and experienced technical writer is needed to join and support the development of a comprehensive operating manual, which encompasses detailed descriptions of the organization’s programs and processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in drafting professional letters and meticulously reviewing external communications to guarantee the utmost quality and clarity.
This position is vital for ensuring that all written materials are precise, accessible, and in alignment with our organization’s standards and objectives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within a relevant industry, with special field experience in writing processes and manuals.
- Acceptable English language level; only professional level or native language.
- Proven track record of producing high quality documentation, including operating manuals, procedural guides, and external communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and understandable text for diverse audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information.
- Proficiency in document design and publication software such as Adobe Suits, MS office.
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to perform the following:
Responsible for the publishing of Supply Chain Management Manual editions/Forms/Terms & Conditions (Ts&Cs).
Tasks include the following:
Consolidation of multiple Source files into one master file (using Macros) Creation of different editions of the Manual (i.e. Services Only, Materials Only..etc)
Quality Assurance of converted data
Design of Fillable acrobat Forms
Preparation of Supply Chain Manual Review Committee (SCMRC) Agenda Binders/SCMRC Minuets of Meetings
Proof reading of modified Procedure/Ts&Cs
