Responsibilities โ€ข Analyze user requirements and system specifications, particularly in the field of Petroleum Engineering
โ€ข Design and develop software applications that meet the needs of the company’s Petroleum Engineering department
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and data
โ€ข Maintain and troubleshoot software applications, ensuring their optimal performance
โ€ข Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective system utilization
โ€ข Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in petroleum engineering software

Requirements โ€ข Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

โ€ข At least 5 years of experience (preferred 10-15 years) as a System Analyst in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering or similar role in the petroleum industry

โ€ข Strong knowledge of petroleum engineering concepts and processes โ€ข Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java

โ€ข Experience in software development and database management โ€ข Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

โ€ข Strong communication and interpersonal skills
