Responsibilities • Analyze user requirements and system specifications, particularly in the field of Petroleum Engineering
• Design and develop software applications that meet the needs of the company’s Petroleum Engineering department
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and data
• Maintain and troubleshoot software applications, ensuring their optimal performance
• Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective system utilization
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in petroleum engineering software

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 

Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience (preferred 10-15 years) as a System Analyst in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering or similar role in the petroleum industry

• Strong knowledge of petroleum engineering concepts and processes • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java

• Experience in software development and database management • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
