Professional Qualifications
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) and/or CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) is preferred.

- Proficient in advanced CAD software, mechanical design principles, tolerancing, and design for manufacture.
- Strong knowledge of licensor design standards, IMO regulations, and classification society requirements.
- Sound understanding of materials engineering and material selection.
- Proven project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering systems such as PLM, ERP, and FEA software.
- Effective technical documentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the development of 2D/3D CAD models and establish design and drawing standards in line with licensor requirements.
- Liaise with the licensor and technical partners to resolve engineering issues and support design development.
- Design structural engine components, ensuring robust and manufacturable solutions.
- Oversee CAD models, engineering drawings, and parts lists to ensure compliance and support timely procurement.
- Provide technical support during customer engagements, including engine selection and Extent of Delivery (EOD) preparation.
- Lead the resolution of major production and quality issues, including Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and the List of Differences (LOD).
- Identify and implement design improvements to enhance cost efficiency, material utilisation, and production performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the design team.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
