BARGE ENGINEER

Job Summary / Objective
The Barge Engineer supervises marine operations, ballast control, and stability metrics for offshore assets. This role ensures the jack-up barge remains structurally secure and compliant with international marine standards and specific company protocols during live drilling operations.

Core Responsibilities

Manage Asset Stability: Oversee and control the ballast systems, jacking systems, and overall structural equilibrium of the offshore jack-up barge.
Supervise Marine Operations: Coordinate rig moves, positioning, and daily marine safety procedures to ensure continuous operational alignment.
Deliver Professional Documentation: Maintain clear, concise communication and operational logs regarding barge status, marine safety, and regulatory compliance.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Must hold a Bachelor Degree or such equivalent acceptable to SAUDI ARAMCO.
Experience: Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working specifically as a barge engineer on a jack-up barge.
Language & Communication: Must be completely fluent in both spoken and written English.
