Overview
Your primary role will be to provide engineering expertise in the field of rotating equipment.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Verify and diagnose engine status through vibration and borescope assessments.
Support capital projects in all aspects (Design, Pre-commissioning, and commissioning). Also, review design documents and drawings and data for large pumps and rotating equipment.
Attend field investigations and issue detailed reports. Provide technical guidance to Operations and Engineering, monitor and analysis of the company’s rotating equipment to direct and recommend problem solutions.
Review and update preventive maintenance program.
Issue procedures and quality assurance plans. Develop a bad actor failure reduction program. Also, develop life cycle costs for rotating equipment repairs and replacement.
Initiate detailed work outline and makes decision as to basic approaches related to any troubleshooting of Electric Gas Generators, Shipper and Booster pumps, Start up, and Mechanical Seal Removal Procedures.
Minimum Requirements
You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Rotating Equipment Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
You will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
You will be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, International Codes, Standards and Specifications.
Experience with aero-derivative gas turbine, and gas compressors is essential.
You should have the capability to verify and diagnose engine status through Vibration and Borescope assessments.
